It was a calm morning when Jong and I decided to go to Broadheadville Park. The park is pretty remote, not many people go there. We heard about this dam with a waterfall and thought it would be a great spot for photos. Jong had his Nikon Z6 with a 50mm lens, and I brought my Canon 60D with a wide-angle lens. I was wearing a red shirt, and Jong had on a black one.

The park looked beautiful. The sky was clear, and the trees around the dam were bare from winter. The water flowed smoothly over the dam, making soft lines as it fell over the rocks. It felt peaceful there, with just the sound of the water in the background. We found a good spot near the rocks to start taking pictures.

Jong focused on getting close-up shots of the waterfall with his lens, while I wanted to capture the whole scene with my wide-angle. Dennis stood by the water on one of the rocks, and we took some shots of him too. It added a nice touch to the scene, having him in the frame.

The sound of the water was really calming, and the park was quiet, which made it easy to focus on our photos. Jong was taking his time, making sure to get the right settings for each shot. Dennis was also helping, moving some rocks around to make the shots look better.

We stayed at the dam for a couple of hours, trying out different angles and enjoying the peaceful vibe. Dennis eventually took off on his bike, riding down one of the park trails. Jong and I hung around a little longer, taking a few more pictures before we packed up.

By the time we left, the light had changed a bit, but it was still a beautiful morning. We knew we had some great photos from the trip, and I was sure we’d come back to this spot again soon. The park was quiet and perfect for photography.
